Seeking a Sr. Underwriter with MPL expertise, current book and wholesale or retail relationships. - As a senior Underwriter within Design Professional’s , you will work closely with the underwriting manager and functional line underwriters, within the region of support and segment, to help manage profitable growth, retention, service delivery and expense oversight for all lines of business within the Design Professional profit center
- Underwriting both new and renewal business within assigned territory. Assisting in achieving profitable premium and rate goals, working with actuarial and claims and successfully delivering results consistent with financial plan.
- Developing, maintaining, and servicing broker relationships within the distribution model.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment, assisting underwriters, underwriting assistants, and management team. Training newer staff members, acting as a mentor.
- Developing technical knowledge of design professional risk management to act as a resource on our product including ability to deliver educational programs, contract reviews, assist with policy coverage evaluations.
- Ensuring high quality service standards and compliance with all internal audit guidelines.
Location: Remote opportunity with travel as needed
