Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate will primarily focus on building high end MGA broker relationships and driving submission activity in the assigned territory. The candidate will assist in providing sales, marketing and business development support to the assigned region as well as assist the underwriting team with agency relationships. 

  • Relationship management of current and new agency/broker relationships
  • Work with EVP, Sales and Marketing on national broker strategy
  • Assist with travel and appointment setting
  • Travel to brokers for face to face business development meetings
  • Commercial P&C business


  • 3+ years in commercial insurance industry, preference in sales or as a marketing rep
  • Candidate can come from a carrier who wants to get into a business development role
  • Candidate can come from a brokerage who wants to get into a business development role
  • Personality traits: self starter, self motivator

Must be able to travel locally or within territory 

Location: REMOTE but ideal candidate will be local to the Northeast
